WHAT IS INTEGRITY?

Updated: Jun 20

Integrity is the alignment between what one believes, says, and does. It encompasses honesty, reliability, and moral uprightness. When someone has integrity, their words and actions reflect their core values and principles. They are consistent in their behavior, even when faced with challenges or temptations to act otherwise.

Integrity involves transparency and accountability. It means owning up to mistakes and taking responsibility for one's actions. People with integrity are trustworthy because they demonstrate sincerity and authenticity in their interactions. They prioritize doing what is right over personal gain or convenience.

In essence, integrity is the foundation of character. It builds trust, fosters respect, and cultivates strong relationships. It is a quality highly valued in individuals, organizations, and societies, serving as a guiding principle for ethical conduct and honorable behavior.
