University of perpetual help

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) is a Catholic-oriented, co-educational, private university, with campuses at Las Piñas, Bacoor, Cavite, and Calamba City, Laguna in the Philippines. The university offers programs in preschool, primary, secondary, tertiary levels, as well as short term vocational, technical, and special programs. Antonio Laperal Tamayo, and his wife, Daisy Moran Tamayo, founded the University Of Perpetual Help System DALTA on February 5, 1975. The term “DALTA” in the name of the university is the acronym for Daisy Antonio Laperal Tamayo, the conjugal founders. The University of Perpetual Help Rizal JONELTA Foundation School of Medicine was established in June 1996, as an extension school of the Perpetual Help School of Laguna for Medicine and Allied Health Science and was thus known as the Perpetual Help College of Medicine- Rizal (Extension School), with Dr. Aretas P. Singson- Alday as its Founding Dean. On April 20, 1997 by virtue of Resolution No. R95-57 series of 1997 of the Commission on Higher Education, the Perpetual Help System Campus in Laguna and Rizal became the University of Perpetual Help Rizal College of Medicine.

Our Lady of Fatima University

Our Lady of Fatima University (formerly known as Our Lady of Fatima and Fatima Medical Science Foundation, Inc.) is a private university in the Philippines. It has five main campuses, one based in Valenzuela City, the others in Quezon City, Antipolo, Rizal,Pampanga, and the newly constructed Nueva Ecija Doctors Colleges Inc. The university concentrates mainly on allied medical sciences.

Its name was derived from the National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima or Pambansang Dambana ng Birhen ng Fatima near the Valenzuela campus. It is not affiliated with the Catholic Church and welcomes students of all faiths (as do Catholic universities) Founded in 1967 by Jose Olivares and his son-in-law, Dr. Vicente M. Santos, the university grew out of Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.The hospital became the primary provider of medical and health care services for Valenzuela. Olivares was an entrepreneur and previously a chemistry professor at Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines. Santos rose from humble origins in Hagonoy, Bulacan, graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, became an obstetrician-gynecologist, and delivered over 96,000 babies during his 40 years of service.

Emilio Aguinaldo College is a private, non-sectarian institute of education located in Manila, Philippines. It runs under the management of the Yaman Lahi Foundation Incorporated.Emilio Aguinaldo College begins with a man who envisions the Filipino youth to be totally educated and trained through arts, sciences and technology.That man, Dr. Paulo C. Campos, one of the very few Filipino National Scientists noted for his work on nuclear medicine, has been recognized and awarded for his numerous researches and publications. He is also credited for establishing the first and best known Radioisotope Laboratory in the Philippines, the first Research Laboratory in the Department of Medicine, University of the Philippines and the Thyroid Clinic of the UP-PGH Medical Center.
